OK, I know it hurts, but the more you do it, the less it hurts.

Not drinking coffee or alcohol beforehand really lessens the pain. Also, as someone else suggested you can take a headache tablet about 30 mins prior, but I’ve never bothered.

Also, if you are embarrassed about the actual procedure, you shouldn’t be, b/c this is one of the main things people get done at beauty parlors. I was getting undressed at an appointment one day, and on the wall was a list of all the appointments for the day. It read like this brazillian, brazillian, brazillian, ...., brazillian, then there was me with a full leg and bikini, then its was brazillian, ... Got over any embrassesment right then b/c I felt like such a prude.

Its well worth doing if only b/c when you get dressed in the morning there’s no fuzz sticking out of your underpants. Also, boyfriends love it. So just make an appointment and go.

Finally found a form of exercise I like 2 years ago

I’ve been trying to exercise regularly for 20 years. I was never any good at team sports, b/c I was so unfit, so every few years I’d join a gym and go regularly for a few months and then wake up one morning down the track and realise I hadn’t gone for 3 months.

Anyway, I joined a boot camp team about six weeks ago. Its on at 6:15 in the morning so I didn’t think I’d last, but I have. Its good to get exercise out of the way in the morning and because its at set times and you forfeit your money if you don’t turn up, I’ve been to every session. Now I know I can get up when the alarm goes off, so I’ve got no excuse.

They also have a fitness test at the start and end of every six weeks and my improvement was really good. Even my fitness freak friends were impressed. So that was really motivating.

So now I’ve done my first thing – woo hoo!

Have set up challenge 2 years ago

To lose 4 kilos in six weeks (those of you keeping count will note I’ve actually put on a kilo since I started doing this “thing”.

Oh well, if I don’t get down to 66 kilos in six weeks, I have to pay $200 to charity, which is gonna hurt. So I’m anxious to do it quickly and not have it hanging over my head. Have stuck well to diet today and went to bootcamp this morning, so 1 day down and 41 to go (or less if I’m lucky).
