test 43 things
Put it to the test 4 years ago

Some amazing things have happened since I started testing my 43 things. Writing down your goals really helps you to focus on what is most important, and motivates you to do something about it. For example, I’ve always said I want to go to Alaska some day. But it was just a pipe dream until I put it to the test. I think maybe my son read about it, because one day he called and said, “Why don’t you come to Seattle, and we’ll go on a cruise to Alaska?” Before he could change his mind, I set a date, and we were off. Testing 43 things works!

Plant a Kings Ransom rose. (read all 2 entries…)
roses 4 years ago

I was too late! By the time I tried to order, the roses were already blooming, and they don’t send them after that. So I’ll have to wait until next spring. The King’s Ramsom is an old variety and is hard to find, so I’m going to start looking early, maybe January or February.

Cheer someone once a day.
encouragement 4 years ago

It’s encouraging when someone takes the time to cheer one of my 43 things. So I’d like to pass it on and maybe help somebody else.
