28 weeks along
Terrifying gush of blood, though I felt just fine.
Admitted to OB ward for heart monitors, ultrasound, and pelvic exam.
Long story short… Rebecca is fine. I am fine.
This just happens sometimes. Doctor’s orders – no exercise, lifting, and “pelvic rest” until there’s no more bleeding for a week. Whatever it was seems to be over with.
I got to see my baby on ultrasound again, though, so that’s always reassuring. She measured a few days ahead of schedule in her growth as she’s been doing all along. The tech said she weighed 2.8 pounds now. Relieved and thankful.

How I did it: I tracked my progress on the calendar. I only counted cardio work-outs of 30 minutes or longer. I met friends and we kept each other accountable to show up for work-outs. Read how I did it…
I was telling my pregnant SIL yesterday how I haven’t been emotional or irrational or angry or anything lately and today it really hit me hard.
I just talked to Hubby for maybe an hour and i cried the whole time, but I don’t think he knew I was. He and I just have our heads in totally different places right now and I don’t think he’d understand how sad and lost and overwhelmed I feel right now.
I’m supposed to be on vacation and I love being here with my family. It’s just a bit too much time to think right now maybe.
I hate being here without Hubby, and the stupid army has been dragging it’s feet on whether or not he’ll be transferred before this weekend or not – which affects when he joins me here. The day he will arrive has gotten later because he underestimated how much time everything would take and that made me bitterly disappointed when he said he’d be LEAVING FL on MOnday to drive here, rather arriving here on Monday, as he’s said all along.
This is a biggie, because I feel like I really need the stuff. My OB says, however, that most women taper off in the third trimester if they can because the baby can actually have withdrawal symptoms for up to two weeks, including seizures! He sounded like I can choose to stay on it, but I cannot take that chance for my baby girl.I’ve gone off it before with BAD results (almost divorced during that time). So this is a bit terrifying. Prayer, prayer, prayer.
