Hello, my name is Stitch and I have not been doing epic shit.
In fact I have been doing whatever the opposite of doing epic shit is. Coasting? Going with the flow? Letting life come to me and accepting it? Whatever. I have not been a doer of epic shit.
As luck would have it I came to this realization a few days before we all make these crazy things called resolutions. As we all know we usually bail on these sometime before the end of January.
So how does one go about defining “epic shit”? I think what I’m shooting for here is more Peak Moments. A fixed moment in time that has strong positive memories. Moments that when your 80 and sitting in your rocker you can look back and think… “For that one moment I was a god.”
So your thinking, “Cool Scott but what’s the point?”. Got ya… The point is this. Being awesome and doing E.S. does not come by accident. Having a “moment” now and again is just not good enough. I think these things can be planned or at least organized. Basically I want to do more cool stuff.
So here is the dealeo, all goals listed below are 10 epic things I want to experience in the coming year. 5 fairly large things and 5 on a smaller scale.
And just never you mind if you don't think if my list qualifies as "epic" or not, it's my frickin list!I started this program http://hundredpushups.com/index.html about 6 weeks ago and go bogged down in week four.
The first test was a bid depressing I could only punp out 17 push ups. Yeah, I know. Last night I did 60 before going to bed, of course I’m typing this with my toes because I can’t move my arms to table level.
Someone asked my why I wanted to be able to do 100 push ups, what was my goal? I didn’t have a answer to that so I answered with a question myself… Ever heard of a salad?
