For so long, people’s opinions have been my prison, but if I’m to become who I’m supposed to be, I have to break free and listen to me. What will he think? What will she say? Doesn’t really matter at the end of the day. The important things are of my own determination, and I’ve got to withstand the inevitable condemnation. Freedom comes with responsibility, and that means doing what’s best for me.

Procrastination is the “Debil”. I’m getting better, though… Reading “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” and Habit #1 is to be proactive. Let’s see how it goes. I’m actually procrastinating in a way now because instead of doing this I should be either blogging, working on my business plan or writing a cover letter. Like I said… getting better. If I was over it, it wouldn’t be on my 43 things list.
We shoot ourselves in the foot before we even start the race because we fear we may not win. It’s never the right thing to do, but I think it often happens subconsciously. Now that I’ve realized this problem, my goal is to catch myself in the act and correct it. Ready… Set… Go!
