Started the hike late, so didn’t get to finish before we had to head back home (it was a Sunday). Definitely going next time and maybe training for it!

How I did it: Actually got lucky and moved with the company, but as soon as I knew we were moving, it took less than 4 months to make make the move. Things were busy over the holidays but visited in January and ended up moving two weeks after that. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Mt. Haleakala in Maui, Hawaii. I wasn't prepared for the 44 degree weather at the time, but I had my family's body heat to help with that. I at least took my camera with me. The clouds hovering over the crater through the mountain tops looked like ocean spray. Read how I did it…

So…Beachbody Insanity. Oh my…love it, but you gotta be super dedicated to the workout schedule. You’ll see your endurance improve quick if you really challenge yourself. Recommend!
Camped out before hiking the Half Dome. If you want to hike the Half Dome, book months in advance, as they fill up (it’s pretty hardcore so do your research). As far as camping goes, I went in October and the weather chilly—bring as many blankets and sleeping bags as you can, and as much warm clothing.
