It’s exactly 10pm. I’m going to put the mac to sleep, shut the light off, and hopefully not stub my toe on my way to bed.
Here it goes! Tonight is the night.

How I did it: Mt. Haleakala in Maui, Hawaii. I wasn't prepared for the 44 degree weather at the time, but I had my family's body heat to help with that. I at least took my camera with me. The clouds hovering over the crater through the mountain tops looked like ocean spray. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Read reviews, compared top 3 of my choice in forums/articles, looked at photos from flickr taken from that specific camera, then decided to buy, paying attention to the most important features TO ME. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My spontaneous roommate in college wanted to get something pierced. I thought it was more doable than her late-night tattoo suggestion on a whim a previous night. Although my desire to get my eyebrow pierced faded after high school, I thought 'ah, why not.' I didn't think too much, but I just went to the local but clean college-town tattoo and body piercing shop everyone on campus knew about. Read how I did it…
It’s exactly 10pm. I’m going to put the mac to sleep, shut the light off, and hopefully not stub my toe on my way to bed.
Here it goes! Tonight is the night.
I have work tomorrow and it’s already 11:02pm. I barely started on this list and I failed already.
Ok, so I’ve never been a video-type girl when it comes to workouts, but I read great reviews about Jillian Michaels and this 30 Day Shred deal, so we’ll see.
I just finished Day 2 today and I never thought a 20 minute workout would make me feel like this—this girl kicks your butt through 3 sets of circuit training that consists of 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs per set. They’re all bootcamp-style drills that I’m used to from high school volleyball practice years ago, and because it’s only 20 minutes, each drill uses your whole entire body, even when you think you’re just working certain areas. She knows just which exercises to do one after the other to make your heart rate go up while you’re putting tension on your muscles (cardio + strength combined). It’s definitely about 20 minutes of endurance without all the extra “oh-look-aren’t-you-having-so-much-fun” motivation talk that I hate about videos. It’ll be a while til I move on to Level 3 of 3.
So…I like her. She’s tough and she cuts the cheesy bs you don’t want to hear. Hopefully I can squeeze in some runs in the morning. There’s only 1 run on my Nike+ipod account :/
