I’m not only reading a text by Judith Miller in French, I will then be asked to write a synopsis of it for the forthcoming Cahiers Pour L’Analyse website.
This goal is a bit closer this morning – I’ve been commissioned to write a review/synopsis piece for a website (which may be made into a book) investigating the Cahiers Pour l’Analyse journal and introducing it to the English-speaking world.
I’ve brushed it up so I can converse a bit with my boy’s French family (though of course there’s always room for improvement – I particularly need to work on spontaneity now I’ve got a better grounding).
