My sister and I and a friend all made soap last week. We had been planning it and researching recipes and methods for weeks. The soap all seems to have turned out well, especially the Chai soap which smells so good and spicy. It’s hard to tell what it will all look like in a few weeks when it’s done curing. It was fun to make – we’re keeping it up as a business.

Some new food at my dinner table. I especially love good crockpot recipes. Can’t wait! I’ll report back.
Getting there...

A jewelry client was coming over today and I went for a run and didn’t get back until noon. All of a sudden I looked at the clock and it was 12:30 and she would be there at 1. I looked around, straightened the couch covers, put away my purse, wiped down the kitchen counters and wiped off the kitchen table. I went a took a 3 minute shower and just got dressed when she showed up 10 minutes early. I am so glad my house was in decent enough order that I could clean it in about 5 minutes. FlyLady ideas are really helping me and I like using my new timer.
