We have been debt free in the past, but we are back in debt again! We are most likely going to be debt free again within the next six months. We owe $30,000 on our house.

How I did it: Read a lot of books about natural birth and birth in general. I even read some books written for nurses (maybe a bad idea if you worry a lot -since it has everything that could possibly go wrong in there). Then, basically, I decided before hand that no matter what - I was not going to accept any pain medication. It really wasn't hard for me to say no. Even though I had never, NEVER felt such horrible pain before in… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I always went to class, even sometimes if I was sick. I did all my homework. I studied for tests. I kept my scholarships. I tried hard to be on my teachers good side. I asked for help when I needed it. If I didn't understand something, I asked for further explanations. I got to know my advisor well. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It wasn't really anything that I did, but just much God kept proving to me that He still loves me, even after I did/do things that are wrong. ....................................................................................................................................... Well, it has only been one year and we are already ready to sell the house. It is on the market for 29,900 right now. We have decided we can afford to go as low as 26,500 and be able to pay off our loan for the new house (our goal). But we can go down to 17,000 without losing any money on the house (and that is without including the 6,000 we saved by not renting for a year).
I’ve planned on having a home birth for years because my mom became a midwife when I was 13. She will be assisting the delivery of my first child which is due January 17, 2009. She has already assisted with the delivery of my sister’s two boys (I got to be there for the last one, he was born July 26, 2008). From what I saw, birth is a very natural, sometimes extremely painful process. I expect it to hurt quite a bit actually (even after reading “painfree childbirth”.... or whatever that book is called…) But I still want to do it naturally, without drugs. So far, I haven’t taken any pain medication since I became pregnant. I don’t want to risk anything affecting my baby. Too many children have autism these days!
