Well technically I quit on Monday but I’ve cheated a few times at this point. I do great during the day when I’m at work or even at home. The problem is when we are drinking, I just have to smoke. I think I’m going to re-work this goal to only smoke when I’m drinking and then work on cutting that back once I can handle it instead of just going completely cold turkey.
Ok, this still sucks! I’m on day two and I know it’s a bit easier than day one but I’m still one hell of a grumpy person! I flipped out because I couldn’t find the newspaper this morning, my poor dog got screamed at again for licking his foot for too long. I really feel like I just want to rip my hair out and scream, but I know it’s not going to help. The worst is when I actually let myself eat something (I swear I want to snack all the time to help fight the cravings). I get the worst urges to smoke right when I’m finished eating.
