How I did it: First having the desire to quit, using Nicotine patches, and then working out and not being able to breathe was the final straw. I didn't give up when I'd 'relapse' and get discouraged. It also helped to get rid of things like ashtrays, lighters...other things that made me think of smoking. During times that you'd normally smoke, find other things to do instead. but the neighbors weren’t very cooperative! Well, everyone was really busy and slow about getting their stuff together. Eventually, I just had a sale by myself. But at least I tried!
I’m done, finally done with painting all of the rooms inside my house that I wanted to be painted. The outside is not done yet but hey, that’s not MY job.
