Added a few more

In 2010 I vacationed to Arizona and last year I went to Colorado with a few days in Arizona as well. We also stopped at pueblo ruins in New Mexico and visited Four Corners. I may count NM, but I think I still need to go to Utah to make it count.

This year I’ll be going to Idaho. The trailhead for a rail trail we are going to ride is actually in Montana. We are also planning making a day trip to Spokane.

I’m on a roll lol.

Er

My husband tried to teach me one afternoon. I cried. That was a couple years ago and I’m still not in any hurry to try that again.

Probably Not

I haven’t really had a need for higher education, so no need to waste my time and money on it. One of my long-term goals is to own my own property management company. I found out you need a broker’s license to do that, so I may finish my BA at UoP (because no way I’m going to be a real estate agent) but right now I want to save my money for a dp on a house or fourplex, so that’s not going to happen.

I moved again, so my room can’t help but be clean. Now the boxes are another story…I did get rid of a lot of stuff, though. I’m getting married so now i have more reason to keep things clean. I’m goingt o try to unpack well and keep things clean!

#5 - Farmer's Market

You can find better versions of these elsewhere, but i really liked it. Besides, i heard it used to be bigger before the construction that is going on downtown. I always love these things, with such cute things to buy and lots of food. I didn’t buy much, except a hot dog and chips. I ate that while listening to some live music. I had planned to go there for lunch every Friday, but i think i’ve only gone 2-3 times. Oops.

#7 - Convention Center

Now my entries are a little out of place because i forgot about some new places i went. I had never been here before going to some JW convention on the way to a party. I went with my friends James and Meaghan. None of us were, are, or planning to become JW. James just likes to go to that type of stuff and well, he was driving. This was in April.

A couple months later me, my bro, and my friend Daselle went there, by a different building to walk around outside while Anime Expo. We were filming mocking video, but i have yet to edit it. Don’t expect to anytime soon eiher. Eventually ;)

I most recently went there to see HSM: The Ice Tour. It was awesome even if everyone was under 7 or the mother of someone under 7. I thought the majority of the fans were teeny boppers so we wouldn’t be toooo out of place! Oh well.

#10 - Tracy's Bar and Grill

We went here Friday night. It wasn’t much. There was a decent band area and the bar seemed a good size. There was one big table for eating in the middle room. There were only two pool tables, which is what we went there for, so we weren’t much satisfied. The best part was the guy that did a funny jumped and screamed “it’s an iphone!” behind my friend (pictured) on his way to the bathroom. The waitress couldn’t even suggest any drinks to indecisive patrons.

This is as much as i want to do with this. No more of the content fillers or fansite stuff, just a business site so i can apply my time to more important things.

#9 - Dale's Diner

This is a cute little place by the airport. It is somewhat secluded. The decor is awesome, but the skirts are a little short; i could see the waitresses shorts she was wearing underneath. I don’t remember what i ate, but it wasn’t bad. I remember the service being slow. More like they ignored us for large segments of time. It took forever to get the check.

I originally wanted to visit one place a month, but that didn’t quite work out.

Knott's Scary Farm

I did it. I was blackout in 13 Axe Murder Manor for a week. I was originally hired as line control, but there were too many, so i was pulled to blackout. That was more fun and the clothes more comfortable, as i just had to wear all black. Line control was a white button-up with a tie. I wanted to stay the whole season and try to be a monster if someone quits, but trying to work two jobs was not easy. It would be 74hrs/wk. I didn’t even make it to October. >.< I’m still glad i did it, and want to try again some year i have more free time.

#8 - Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles

Busy as i was this summer, i hardly found any time to visit any new places because i was out of town so much. Most of the events i attended were either in a different city or somewhere i’ve already been.

Finally i went somewhere new when a friend (now bf) took me to dinner. It was a surprise location and turned out to be Roscoe’s. It wasn’t bad, but i’ve had better chicken and better waffles. My plate was really good though, because i got chicken and dumplings. I love mixing foods though, so it was worth it.

Colorado

Well I did it. Last month my roommate and i went to Colorado for four days. Early Thursday morning we flew into Denver, where our friend picked us up. We visited downtown (drove by the capitol), Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Telluride. On our five hour drive west on Friday, we passed a sign for Southpark. It was an awesome experience, but i still have the financial scars.

#6 - Long Beach Community College

Does this count? I never attended here, but went to an ASB banquet with a friend. The food was horrible, what with the dry chicken, cold coffee, old hershey kisses, and moldy rolls. The part i saw was inside like FJC, which i like. Not a bad place, except for the vikings. I liked the bit about the dead bunnies best.

An Eagle Victory

I finally dug it out to finish it once and for all and saw that i was a lot closer than i realized to being finished. I did a row or two and then added the fringe. Then i had a lovely scarf to wear to the midnight magic party for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The only (canon) Ravenclaw there, by the way. Some chick had an AE blue/gray tiny scarf that i think was trying to be Ravenclaw, but that’s movie colors and so doesn’t count.

I got the CD/book set and pulled out the first CD but i didn’t end up listening to it on that drive, and when i went to grab it for a long drive up north, i couldn’t find that one. Didn’t want to start with disc 2. What a trip wasted…and a purchase. It’s just been sitting there and i still can’t find the first disc.

Responsible

I’ve definitely learned to be more responsible about things and procrastinate less, but i’m not sure if i can say i’m more organized yet. I’ll know soon whether i’m still a scatterbrains or not.
