Things are in motion for this. I have to go get a background check done ($60… BOO!). After that, I’ll meet with a case worker, and over the next 8 weeks, build a relationship with a kid in the system.
I’m gonna do some crafty things – maybe paint a memory box type thing, bake cookies, maybe. We’ll probably go to the movies at some point. Anyone have any suggestions? It’ll probably be a female, and between 11-14 years old.
