I'm doing 13 things
It has now been three months since moving back to California. We were very fortunate to have sold our home only a couple of days after listing it, which accelerated our need to find a place and get it all packed up to go.
After a quick yard sale & a large donation, we lightened our load and were on our way. We took our time on the drive down, stopping to visit friends and family here and there. Once we arrived, it was an amazing sight to be amongst so many people and traffic. We had grown used to uncrowded beaches and 25 mph speed limits, but this was more welcomed.
Crashing for the first few days was nice after unloading the van. Both physically and emotionally… we were finally home, where we belong & back to a place where we can bury our roots and grow at last.
