The tears are still there with stories of my boy, but they are less of a storm and more rare and quiet than before.
I will always miss him, I adored him and forever will do so. I hope to see him at the Rainbow Bridge one day waiting for me.

How I did it: After my Dad passed away I wanted something to honour his memory. He had a swallow tattoo from his army days and I love wolves. I drew a wolf watching a swallow flying free past a full moon and up into the sky. I kept it in just black and I'm very pleased with the end results. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My Dad passed away and I wanted a little something to honour him. He had a swallow tattoo he had done when he was in the army and I have this thing about wolves.I incorporated the two together to have the wolf watching the swallow flying free. The moon as a background, I'm happy with it and that's what matters. Be sure of what you want! Read how I did it…
It’s been five months since he’s gone and I can get through almost a whole conversation about his exploits without the tears wandering quietly down my cheeks.
I planted a little evergreen shrub next to where he is in my garden.
I hope that the mourning will pass and leave me where you are now, grieving with respect but with smiles at what you both shared wooleyduck.
I am now the happy soul who has a little (at the moment looking at her rather large feet) Border Collie to walk beside her.
The puppy training days are sometimes frustrating for both of us but I would still encourage others with a love of dogs to definitely go for this goal, when they are ready!
