I’ve got plans to volunteer in Rwanda with WE-ACTx (Women’s Equality for Access in Care and Treatment). Very excited! Was able to find a volunteer office position for a week or so!
I visited Stonehenge in 1977, the summer I turned 16. We hitchhiked there (two American girls, having too much fun!) and stayed a while. I have a few great shots of me sitting on a couple of the stones. They are huge. Even in 1977 though the place was not the quiet mystical place I wanted it to be. I understand it is even more built-up now with too many visitors at any one time.
Guess we had to be there centuries ago.
