I got a tattoo last April at the ripe old age of 44. I love it, but it wasn’t a decision I took lightly. I’d wanted one for ages, but I’d held out just to make sure it wasn’t a passing whim. I’d say, think long and hard about it first. I feel happily confident that I’ll always love mine as it marks a time in my life when I started to gain the confidence I’d always lacked all my life. In fact I actually had a nightmare once that I was in the bath and it washed off, and I was mortified! The first thing I did when I woke up was check it was still there, and breathed a sigh of relief lol! Incidentally it’s a vine bracelet round my left wrist.
