I have always been pretty healthy, more relying on my soccer & lacrosse exercises to mediate any unhealthy food I might eat. However, I found a website called www.caloriecount.com that changed everything. It’s not just a calorie counter, but an exercise finder, a team weight loss website, and a positive place to record how healthy you’ve been. I started using it daily before my Winters dance because my dress was really tight, & the results were amazing! I got healthier, began thinking more about my body in the long-term, & my dress looked great! I plan on continuing to eat healthy, and not focus on weight loss. If I simply keep up being healthy & exercising, the weight will come off on its own :) Good luck!

How I did it: I was really obsessed with Harry Potter this summer, and so I decided to knit a scarf. I had never knitted before, but it seemed like something I could accomplish. I looked up the pattern I wanted (Prisoner of Azkaban style) on Theleakycauldron.org. They have a really great crafts section, and many people who are willing to help. My mom showed me how to start it, and it got easier as I went along. Every time I watched a movie, I would kni… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Waited until i had a boyfriend, didn't just kiss someone random. You have to wait until you're ready too. It's one of the most important things about growing up. Read how I did it…
How I did it: If you put Vaseline Cocoa Butter lotion on and then SPF 15, you get tan. Probably not very safe; I am usually very cautious. It didn't take very long, though. Read how I did it…

So all the Senior guys this year decided it would be cool to ask the sophomores, so most of us are left without dates. We’re still gonna go, because the remaining seniors didn’t ask anyone. But I got this perfect dress – it’s actually my friend’s sister’s, but we were at her house helping my other friend decide what to wear to Homecoming & she tried it on & then my other friend tried it on & then I tried it on & they said i looked amazing. So I’m going to try & not really eat that much this week so I can look good :) & I have really high heels & awesome jewelery! So I think maybe things’ll turn around at Homecoming.. :)
Hahah okay so I know this is kind of the cheating way to do it.. but whatever. So all summer I had conditioning for soccer every day, & it was really intense, but I still didn’t have a completely flat stomach. At the beginning of the school year, I contracted mono & was out of school for two weeks. The thing was, my throat hurt so much that I couldn’t eat a thing. So I went like 3 days with eating basically nothing except ice cream, & then I fainted when I went to the doctor’s. Once I got medicine it got better but I had a completely flat stomach!! A little bit of it has come back now that I can eat, but now that I know it’s possible I can just reduce my caloric intake along with my soccer workouts. Hopefully in time for Homecoming!
