I’ve never been a quiet laugher. When something strikes me as funny, it’s very obvious to everyone around. I have different laughs…one that sounds like a goose, a French Santa-Claus, snorts, wheezes…a ton. My friends have named them all over the years. Well, they all sounded different in Mexico. I can’t remember what was said or what happened, but I started lauhing. And it sounded strange. So my friends started laughing at MY laughing. Making me laugh more. When I looked up, several tables of people around us were smiling and/or laughing with/at us and I received a comment about how nice it is to see young people enjoying themselves and thanking us for having fun! hahaha
it was fun!

Two of my best friends, Megs and Sarah, joined me on an international excursion to Cancun, Mexico! I have sooo missed traveling! And I’m missed the Spanish language! I loved every minute of our time in Cancun. Even though it rained some, we still got plenty of sun and ocean time! And as the Mexican Christopher Walkin look-alike waiter, Jose, said…Sarah took too much sun! hahaha I’ve included a pic I took with my phone from our hotel room window early early on the last day. Doesn’t really do the view or Cancun justice, but it’s all I have access to right now.
I definitely recommend Cancun to anyone looking for a great vacation. And I definitely recommned the Oasis Viva Beach hotel. Clean, beautiful, all-inclusive, fun, great staff! And all-inclusive is definitely the way to go!!!!
Almost everyone speaks English around the whole city, so that’s not a problem…but if you do have a working knowlege of Spanish, it’s fun, makes things even easier, and makes some of the locals happy! lol
There was serisouly something for everyone…R&R, swimming, good food, great shopping, local crafts, high end stores, nightclubs, fun restaurants, tours, parasailing…everything fun and exciting and perfect!
It was Paradise! Don’t want to be home…
I want to travel again! But it’ll be hard to choose between somewhere new or back to this fantastic city/country!
