I have gmail. It seems to be worth it. I took someone’s advice and I got it to help avoid spam in another account. Well of course the other account’s server didn’t support the method. But, that’s o.k. I have taken some extreme measures to protect this new email account and gmail plus an alias (disposable [non-gmail]) account will help with that a great deal.
The one downfall – They seem to spy on you. That’s how they get ads in your email for you to see. They have a program that reads your email that’s how they choose appropriate ads to put in your email. EX. If your email to someone is about real estate, you might see mortgage or other real estate related ads in the email (to the right side).
In addition I also downloaded Firefox. I assume this will be worth it too. I’ll let you know. I haven’t used it yet. I have just finished downloading it. I have alot to learn there, alot to discover.

I’d like to use this as a spam filter for my primary account. I keep geeting all these drug emails. Why I don’t know. I’ve never bought anything like that on the internet, man it’s a pain. Maybe this will be a way to get rid of them. We’ll see.
