Finished Blankets. Highly recommend it. I think my next step is to practice drawing people and caricatures, especially in different moods and poses.

Yesterday, I went to my community garden plot. It is about 300 square feet. I pulled out the weeds and dug the whole thing up. My back hurt after that so I stopped for the day.

Next move is to break down the clumps of dirt and pick out all the rocks. I’d like to do it with a sifter…a big metal screen, rather than my hands. It’d be faster.

I am reading the Book “Square Foot Gardening” and will be trying to do a square foot garden where I plant one seed per hole in squares rather than the whole packet in rows. It’s supposed to be much more space, time and money efficient.
