Learnt Spanish at school – never tried too hard at first but managed to pull an A out of the bag in the last year. Am currently travelling for 3 and a half months in South America – would call my speaking level ‘competent’ but definitely not fluent. Need to learn more idioms, vocab, and improve my accent.

Just spent a week in Rio and felt a little out of place. Im not in bad shape but I swear everyone there is stacked…
Having lived in a small town for so long, its been so easy to rely on my bike, friends and public transport to get around. However having travelled a bit more Im feeling more free than ever and looking to embrace it by becoming more self sufficient. (Albeit poorer!)
