How I did it: Well, my mom's a navy brat, so she's never really comfortable keeping the house the same. Last summer she had my brother and I tear out the carpet upstairs and refloor with that laminate stuff. She also had a new layout set up that involved me moving out of the garage and into a room for my 4 year old sister. My bro and I painted the walls with murals and set up the room all prettily, it was pretty cool. Read how I did it…
