My husband and I are finally having our first baby…and our last! After being pregnant the first time & having some bad experiences with large families, we’re content to have our one precious baby girl. We’re looking forward to having this new addition to our family in October!

I am really wanting to have my own home, a very nice one that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to have people visit. So far, we’ve gotten pre-approved by the mortgage company for a house that’s $25,000 to $30,000. We’ve also contacted our real estate agent and are meeting with him on Tuesday to look at houses. I’m really not excited about any of the houses (well, there are 2 that I’m a little excited about…the house with the bright green lime bay window & the old church), but I’ll just be glad to have my own house. We’ll probably fix up the house and then sell it when we’re ready to move on with our life. Yeah for us taking our first steps to being homeowners!!!!
I think I’ve gotten the first step done. I spent 15 minutes a day for several days going through all the recipes that I’d saved and picked the ones that I knew Elisha & I would like & could afford the ingredients. I cut them all out and put them in a box. Sometime I’ll have to get a book or a real recipe box to categorize everything. Maybe I’ll even make menus out of the recipes that I have.
