DD is in the hospital and supporting her husband and helping with her little girl is my focus now. Maybe when things calm down, I can work on this goal again.

How I did it: The very night that I tried an herbal tea to help me get to sleep was the night I woke with the room spinning. The rest of my story is on this web page: www.caringbridge.org/visit/Tamster My insomnia had a specific origin, and since finding out about my acoustic neuroma, I've been able to sleep better. How I did it: I opened up my heart to receiving cheers and love and kindnesses from the dear people on this board. New Isabella was so kind to offer to create a birthday goal for me, and as a result, I've made some new friends and enjoyed my birthday more than before. Thanks everyone! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Suffice it to say that it included a doctor visit, physical therapy and daily exercise to finally get this foot feeling better again. I am so thrilled to have it almost better again. Read how I did it…

Podiatrist says I have an accessory bone that may be causing problems. Doc who read MRI doesn’t even acknowledge this bone.. Still no answers. Now what?
I am adding this goal. Back to my list. After three years of being pain-free, once again I am having issues with my foot/ankle. August 2012 I went for a massage and the therapist did a gentle stretch at the end, tugging my ankle. Since then, I have foot pain again. For the most part, it has not been terribly painful, but it has kept me from doing 5ks or playing tennis as much as I’d like.
Ive made an appt with an orthopedic surgeon for July 18. In the meantime, though, I’ve decided to see a podiatrist and see what he might recommend.
Monday I went to him for the first time. He took three X-rays and taped my foot. The taping caused my foot to hurt worse, so Wednesday I removed the tape, much to my foot’s relief. Tomorrow I go for an MRI. I don’t like exposing myself to so much radiation, but there comes a time to be more proactive in finding a resolution. I’ll write more later about what this doc has said, but for now, I just wanted to get this goal posted. This week, it is my main priority.
