I speak English and Norwegian fluently, but only because I have an English mother and a Norwegian father. I really don’t have any preference between the two, which I guess is the advantage of learning languages as a child.

Busy year!
I’m currently half way through a year as an Americorps Vista volunteer, and it’s been really great. I’m working for a non-profit organization promoting arts education in schools, and providing professional development for elementary school teachers. I love knowing that the work I do is making a difference in the lives of children and teachers throughout the state. It’s amazing to be involved in something where I can actually see and measure the impact of my work. If you can make it work for you, do it!
