Last time I checked I weighed close to 180 lbs, which is 70 down from 2 years ago. I want to get down to 150 and build back up to 165 with muscle. These last 30 lbs have haunted me for nearly a year now. I hit 185 last July and have been hovering around it since then. I have to get more serious. Goodbye Pepsi and sandwiches. Hello water and fruits.

Picked up this pack of CD-Roms called “Instant Immersion Japanese”. Comes with 4 discs. Installed it tonight for the second time (I initially bought these discs a year ago but never really started), and practiced for a half hour. Having given up video games (see another of my things), I’ve definitely got the free time now to do this, so there’s no excuse.
I’ve noticed that many words are just like English with a Japanese twist. Credit Card is “krejittu kahdu” and bus is “basu”. I’ve also noticed that the sentence structure is completely back asswards than what I’m used to. This will be slightly more difficult than I expected.
World of Warcraft (a massive multiplayer online game that you can play “forever”) is just about the only game I’ve been playing recently, and I haven’t touched it (before tonight) for nearly a week now. Well, that’s due to the fact that I’ve been away for nearly a week now. Bleh.
I don’t have nearly as much desire to play this game as I did when it came out in November, but it seems I can’t fill my free time with anything as compelling as video games. I’ll try going another week without it, but this time while having access to it.
