I would love to put every idea put forth in this book into action but find some of them to be way over the top … such as only having 7 outfits that you basically rotate for each day of the week, week after week after week. Other than the clothing aspect I agree with almost all of this book … I do complicate my life with meaningless things and would love to simplify to have more time and money to do the really important things … the things I REALLY care about doing.

I dyed some wool with Kool Aid last night and it was SO fun. I used pink lemonade, black cherry and grape and it looked SO dark while I was actually putting the dye on, but when I steamed the wool to set the dye it lightened up and turned out so pretty. As of this morning it was still not completely dry so I can’t wait to check it when I get home. I know I’m going to immediately want to start knitting something with it. I’m also definitely going out today to get more Kool Aid since I still have two skeins of wool left!!
I get TONS of stuff from my local library … I get to check out DVDs and music CDs for free … and the music and movies they have are pretty current, and the ones that aren’t current are just really good older stuff. I am a knitter so I get every knitting book that I can sent over to my branch library and then I check them out. It gives me a good opportunity to hear and read things before I actually buy them and it’s all FREE!! You can also get on the computer at the library, take classes, hide away in a corner with your cappucino and laptop … just go there, it’s SO worth it!!!!
