find THAT boy.
Untitled 2 years ago

I’ve decided to make a list.
Of what I would do if some boy were ever delusional enough to admit that there was some sort of… notion in his head… of me.

The thought makes me very silly indeed. It sounds so funny.

Let’s see. Well, I’d be horribly awkward to eat in front of him. I find that even awkward in front of friends. I don’t like it much. Eating… in front of people. Like, a meal. I don’t mind if it’s a snacky food… or something. But like, a plate of something.. That gives me cringes.

Or whatever is the correct form of saying that.

So… what would we do?
Odd.

Well, I guess I should more say what I would like to do.

-Take a walk in the snow. Anywhere. Just so long as it’s snowing.
-Take a walk in the rain.
-Spend sunny days indoors somewhere or doing something that doesn’t mean ‘enjoying the weather’.
-Share passions. Like, for me, two of mine are photography and music. To feel that we understood each other’s… joie de vie… Fascinating.
-Draw a picture on the wall of each other’s bedrooms in crayon.
-Change names. Walk around somewhere fun and call each other Mrs. So and So and Mr. So and So.
-Dress up in expensive and fancy outfits and take an outing to a fancy restaurant, sit down and take one look at the menu and then snub it and leave, talking loudly of plans to eat at the closest McDonalds.
-Dress up as vagabonds. Not necessarily the grubby kind. But with hats and overalls and those old tops you buy at Red White and Blue. (Tis a thrift shop a few miles from my house.) And then make a house call. To some mutual friend’s house. Or this could be intertwined with the change the names thing and we could walk into a Police Station and pretend to be tourists.
“Lookie thar, Thelma Lou. Them’s where they keeps the Priz-nars.”
“Goll-ee Gee, Ricky. You sure is smarts.”
“Aw, shucks.”
-Walk barefoot in the middle of a city.
-Get out at the border and have one of us stand in America and the other in Canada… and then leave.
-Ride a gondola to the smelliest tavern in Italy.
-Go fishing. I’ve never been fishing.
-Steal a penny each from a fountain.
-Spend my birthday doing nothing but talking about nothings in ways that mean everything.
-Pick a random day to go to any stores of our choosing and buy complete outfits for one another and wear them the next day.
-Watch a film in a language neither of us know.
-Sew a patch of fabric onto each other’s shirt sleeves. Even though I can’t sew.
-Walk up to an old couple and ask them how they met. Maybe talk to them for a long while.. make friends? I think it would be interesting.
-Dial a random number on a payphone and ask the person on the line what time it is.

Hm..

<3 Be best friends.

find a religion that suits me
Untitled 2 years ago

Christianity isn’t a religion at all, but a relationship. A working relationship with Jesus Christ. All you exchange for freedom, is acceptance of his sacrifice for you. And in that, you cultivate a love and persisting relationship.

<3 I wish I could say so much more. But maybe give it another go?

learn photography and take more pictures
Untitled 2 years ago

I’m in love with photography. I started a year ago, and I adore it. Light… everything is about light. You take a boring scene, get an angle (an angle you think that ONLY you would think of) and take it from a different viewpoint where the light is different.
And there’s no such thing as mistakes. Only ‘poetic lisensce’ as I call it. xD
