I'm doing 27 things
I’ve been friends with this guy for ages (about 4 years) and now he’s the closest thing I have to an enemy and I can hardly wait to see the back of him. He’s been a pain for about a year now, although prior to that he had some annoying tendencies.
Always lying then bragging about the lies, still thinks racist ‘jokes’ are funny and sees everything about anyone as fair game for the stupid childish teasing that he thinks is contemporary humour.
Brags, mainly subtely, about non-existant parties & non-existant girls, to feed his insecurities and cling to those gullible enough to believe him.
He’s very smart grade-wise but when it comes to discussing any controversial topic or current event, he always manages to find something stunningly dumb and/or offensive to say.
The most irritating thing is that none of my other friends find him annoying, so if there is ever a big group of us it’s guaranteed he’ll be there somewhere.
I have to endure him for at least 5 minutes to an hour every day, given how my school is structured. Usually I just pretend to be tired and just act as if I can’t be asked to talk, which is far better than trying to reason or tolerate. He quite likes me rather weirdly although recently I’ve shown him nothing but contempt.
Anyway, hopefully he’ll go to a different college to me at the end of this year and I’ll never see the guy again.
So that’s my rant over.
