How I did it: I didn't get my license until I was 23 - just last week, in fact. It's been at the top of my 43 things list since I joined this site, and I really didn't think I was ever going to be able to press the "I'm done" button. How I did it: I had no choice - I got a teaching job, and that meant no more rolling out of bed at 2 pm. But since this past Summer, I'd been slowly getting up earlier and earlier. 2 became 1, 1 became 12, 12 became 11... I realised that I didn't have much time during the day to do things. I thought I wanted a smaller one, because I don’t like wide stuff, so I bought what I thought was sock yarn. It’s lace. I’m using ones. This may never be done.
