I hate the reading for this class.
245 + 11,107 = 11,352 pages.
I am currently using my stashed-without-a-reason yarn to make blankets for charity. I completed one that was 42×42 and gave it to a local nursing home, who was of course very happy to have it for patients in wheelchairs. I’m also working on a baby blanket with Lion Brand Microspun, but I don’t think I’m going to have enough to make it big enough. So, if anyone has any Microspun they aren’t planning to use, please send me a message! I’m also very willing to take 6×6 squares in any material, any color, any pattern. I’ll send you a picture of the blanket when it’s done!
I finished this goal several weeks ago – precisely, the Tuesday after HP7 came out. Then I took a reading break in order to knit more. So, it looks like this:
759 + 9321 = 10,080 pages!!
I’ll still try to keep track, though, since this is fascinating to me. So, last night I finished The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks.
254 + 10080 = 10,334 pages.
Oh hey, honnnnnorrr, I’ve been thinking about reading Fahrenheir 451. Any good?
870 + 652 + 7799 = 9321 pages.
HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN?!
You know the next 700 will take me the rest of the year.
591 (it was the large print edition. It’s not cheating if that’s all the library had…) + 6273 = 6864 pages.
Lady Chatterley’s Lover by DH Lawrence
Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
And all that was before 5 pm. I only had 40 pages to finish on LCL, though.
324 + 93 + 105 + 4788 = 5310 pages!! Over halfway!
Couldn’t get into it at all. Really need to sleep now. I think reading has become my heroin.
111 + 3745 = 3856 pages
I have an excess of free time at the moment.
3136 + 268 = 3404 pages.
I see we’re neck and neck, honnnnorrr ;)
