I plan on moving to Los Angeles in a little under a year to pursue acting. But I know that I’m definitely going to need a job to keep my head above water while I’m auditioning for parts. I’ve always wanted to learn how to tend bar, and LA seems like it will be the perfect place to do it.
I think I’m going to get myself into some lessons and maybe pick up a weekend job somewhere for the experience.

Sometimes I feel like I would naturally be a good actor. Hey, but let’s not kid ourselves.
I should really take some classes to get myself out there and see what it’s really like.
I’m not really interested in Theatre so much as I am film. Anyone got any pointers?

I want a great set of pearly white for when I move to Hollywood. I had braces when I was 13, so my teeth are perfectly straight. Now at 22, I want to make sure they’re stark white for a wonderful smile.
Any tips. Should I do it at home, or get a professional?

I promised a friend and myself that I would draw a manga based on Iron Man. I already have my sketches set up and it’s time to get started. If you’re interested go here

My cousin is an amazing guitar player who has tried to teach me several times. Last time we did a few lessons I started getting pretty good, and I want to get back to that.

I’m terrified of large waves. Tsunamis and Killer waves have always frightened me. I want to turn that fear into respect and learn how to surf and feel really free on the water.

My whole family is French-Canadian and I don’t speak a word of it. I’ve promised my great-grandmother that I will speak French on day, and while I do understand quite a bit of it, I’m no where near as good as I should be. I’m going to take it on to actually learn French before I move next year. Maybe I’ll actually be good at it? who knows?

When I was a kid, I used to always know in the back of my head that the only thing I wanted to do in my life was act. For years, I spent so much time convincing myself that I was pretty enough, that I wasn’t thin enough, that I would never be good enough for film.
I would spend hours watching movies, completely entranced by the fact that the people on the screen were living a life that I so desperately wanted but would never have.
I didn’t take drama in school, afraid that I would be type cast as the “Drama-nerd” persona. My complete lack of self-confidence couldn’t take it.
I’ve tried to fill the hole that staying away for acting has given me with things that I feigned interest in for so long: Engineering, Business… terrible jobs that make me so unhappy.
I realized the other day that if I don’t at least get myself into shape, sort out my confidence and try then I will never be happy and always regret it.
Over the next year I’m going to take classes, get in shape, change my look and revamp my confidence… then I’m moving to Los Angeles to see what I can do.
Things like this always seem impossible, but they never are. If this is what you want, then you need to go after it: Lock, stock and barrel.

I really want to take up running. I have 180$ running shoes and absolutely no will power, but I’ve decided that I’m going to register for the Toronto Marathon in 2009which is 25 miles. I need to start training now if that’s the case.
