Model In Hawaii
I Was A Nude Male Model

Easier to do since I live in Hawaii. The Story:

I did a silly thing and ended up drunk skinny dipping with some friends, acquaintances, and a man I thought of as a brother (three guys, myself included, and six girls). Unfortunately my fiance at the time was not present and, when I told her about my prior night's adventure spent the next several hours bawling uncontrollably. In my defense, I didn't think it would be such a big deal as we had been on nature hikes with friends who, upon reaching whatever water feature was the goal, immediately got rid of every stitch of clothing. I explained this way of thinking to her and sat in my doghouse for several days.
Day three or four I received a phone call from said fiance asking, "Would you consider doing a paid nude modeling photo shoot?" Sensing that saying no might be the end of our relationship and also having no compunction against the idea (plus it WAS a paid shoot) I said yes.
The photographers vision was such: he had been all over the country and he had taken single subject pictures of various performing artist (dancers, stage actors, musicians, etc.) and the theme was "The Garden of Eden". Long story short, my ex fiance and I, plus two of our friends spent one day shooting and the next day we received a call from the photographer. The culmination of his project was to shoot a male and female subject representing Adam and Eve. Due to a scheduling conflict, his chosen Adam and Eve were unable to make the shoot and he was set to fly out that same night. So, by process of dire need, he was offering us the opportunity to be his Adam and Eve. Shoots den. Another days pay for a few hours of our time.
The second days shoot gave me some of my favorite pictures of myself I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I have never been able to find the book (it was to be a coffee table book) and have since lost touch with the photographer. But at least I have the photo sheet. Somewhere.
Incidentally, the photographer's name is Allan (or Allen) Birnbaum and the working title was "The Garden of Eden". If anyone has a line on it I would love to see the finished product.

Cheers.
