After I quit my job a year ago, I kept eating like I was still working/walking around all day. By the end of the year, I had put on 15-20 pounds. I really don’t want to have to buy all new “fat” clothes, so I’ll just get my ass on the elliptical machine. I started about a month ago, but in the last 2 weeks I stopped being so lazy about it, & now I’m working out at least 3 days a week for 30 minutes, but not a lot of weight loss, yet.

How I did it: I had been wanting to get contacts for a while, and then one day, my boyfriend went in to get an eye exam while I did some shopping. I met up with him there, and he said, "Hey, why not get your contacts?" So I did.The doctor was nice, but a little rough putting in the contacts for the first time. Then I had to take the "contacts class" where a girl who didn't even wear contacts tried to show me how to put them in & take them out. It f… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had been thinking of getting a tattoo for a while, and I finally came up with the design I wanted. But it took me until last week to finally get up the courage to do it.My boyfriend decided he wanted a new tattoo (he already had four), so we researched the best shops in town & opted for Timeless Tattoo. While he was getting his done, I decided I would just do it. So I drew a sketch of what I wanted & his tattoo artist made it big… Read how I did it…
There’s not much I can really do to my bathroom (it’s super tiny & I’m pretty sure management won’t allow me to paint), but I want to add some stuff to make it more personal. Besides, the rug we have now is terribly disgusting, a breeding ground for stink.
The colors I have in mind are black, turquoise, and possibly silver/chrome. I’ve already found a matching rug & shower curtain in turquoise at Ikea for really cheap. They even have nice turquoise & black towels. I also want to get a wall shelf or cabinet to hang over the toilet because our bathroom is so messy & unorganized. It’d be nice to have a place to put our towels besides the shower curtain rod since the towel hanger broke. I’ve been looking a few different options from different stores.
A simple, cheap chrome shelf with a towel rod:

Or something a little more expensive (but more aesthetically pleasing & probably more durable):

I’m really excited to get started. I even can’t wait to put the shelf together myself. I’ll probably be going shopping this weekend to check out my leads, and at least to get the textiles from Ikea since they aren’t available online.
I finally did it!! My lens on ballet flats has been in the top 100 since Friday, April 20th. :]
