This is my favorite myth in the world. I just saw a modern retelling of it at the Alley Theatre and I was blown away. I have to see more.

How I did it: I was the one who broke any ties between us. It sucked, but I was through with the bullshit and I had to be fully done with him and it was the only way for me at the time. It’s been so many years now and I rarely even think about him. He dated one of my best friends and tried to cheat on her with another one of my friends. The only way I could fully let myself get over him was to break any relationship we had. We are no longer on a speaking basis. Because of him I learned what I am worth and that I don’t need a guy like him. I’m better than all that bullshit.
