I used to be able to do this at my local Smoothie King with a Mango-fest smoothie. It’s fun being able to walk up the counter and have someone know exactly what you want.

How I did it: About nine months after forming a punk-rock band with friends, and one month after finding the singer to complete it our rhythm guitarist told us all to meet him at his church with the idea of them letting us practice at 4pm with their larger-than-our PA system. How I did it: Our band posted fliers in 2 local hot topics, our first phone call was just a few days in. After a few more days with no calls we ask to audition him, and the new guy is perfect. Just the other day I was reading this in class and my English teacher walked up and said she had tried and never been able to finish and admired my “courage.” I laughed.
Luckily she hasn’t noticed i haven’t been doing any of the class’ assigned reading…I’ll get to it soon, hopefully.
