Become a breeder of Chapion Newfoundland Dogs
Untitled

I’m rethinking this goal. I love my Newfie but I’m not sure having more than one is manageable. They are not very agile, so if I start breeding them when I retire (if I retire), they could be unsafe for me when they get rowdy. They also require a lot of grooming, something I don’t like doing. In addition, all medicine and most medical procedures cost more because they are so large, as well as routine health maintenance, like flea and tick treatment. I’m reconsidering the possibility of doing a Newfie rescue or fostering instead.

Have a healthy mouth and teeth
Finally got this ball rolling!

A blessing in disguise! After suffering from a severe abscessed tooth, I got some much needed dental work done. Yes, it took a root canal and a cap, but it got done and now eating is so much easier and after some severe pain, I’m much happier. Another root canal improved my smile and this process is almost over. I have a lot of work that still needs to be done, but I’m conquering my fear of dental pain and making real headway on the dental work I need done.

Practice

I got to practice a tiny bit this weekend. I must remember progress-not perfection.
