How I did it: I have been biting my nails to nubs all of my life. When i was a baby, my mom thought there was something wrong with me, and asked the doctor what might be the reason for my fingernails and toenails not growing. It was at the appointment, that the doctor and my mom saw me biting on my nails. Uck.I have tried many times to quit this awful habit, but even when I did stop for any amount of time, the urge to bite, nibble and generally demolis… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I first started with the local education center for my city. I just had to register with them and take a TABE test in math and reading just to see where I was starting from. From there I was placed in ABE (Adult Basic Education) classes on Aug 30, 2011. The teachers there helped me to study in the G.E.D. exam areas. I was able to take many practice tests and find out where I needed the most help in to achieve a passing… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well, my boyfriend originally invited me along with a couple of his friends to a Grieves and Budo show, but tickets sold out before we could get our hands on them. That was okay though. We later heard about a CD release show (pretty much turned into a rave) that was going down in Mpls. It was held in a warehouse, so finding it was the hard part. It was from 8PM-5AM; we ended up staying until 3:30AM. I can't even begin to describ… Read how I did it…

We were thinking of putting this off until we get moved, but it had to be done. The water just can’t be enjoyed without this awesome new filter system we found a few months ago. It is called Zero Water, because it removes inorganic water junk, so that when it is tested using this neat little tool that reads your tap water’s TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) levels, it will read at all zeros (000).

My tap water reads at 134, while the FDA recommends your drinking water be at Zero. Once your tap water is run through this wonderful filter (it does take longer, and is more expensive than your average water filter), the water comes out crisp, clear, CLEAN, delicious and reads at 000. I can tell the minute my filter needs to be replaced. When I noticed the change in taste the other day, my filtered water was reading at 010; not huge, but I can tell.
I’m happy to finally have my yummy water back. It wasn’t exactly cheap at $30 for two filters, but so worth it. I saw on their website tat there will be a Zero water bottle soon, too. :)
I knew of most of these (and suffer from many of them), but I had no idea that the little bumps I sometimes get on the back of my arms (and probably the ones I get on my thighs at times, too) were related to gluten. Hmm, makes sense though. Gluten affects every part of the body when you’re sensitive or intolerant.
Good things to pay attention to and keep in mind for you and those around you.
