My husband bought me a great digital camera for Christmas. Now I’ve just got to learn how to use it! I’ve played around with it a little bit, but I’m planning on taking a digital photography class so I can really enjoy it.

I’m in the process of landscaping my backyard. I have a lovely rock garden in my front yard. It has grown beautifully, thanks to the xeriscape plants I chose for it that need very little water once established. I also love using native plants and flowers in my landscape. I hope to be as successful with my backyard project, but it will take some time as it is a much larger area. Starting to purchase plants now. It’s fun!
I used to keep a gratitude journal. It was kinda contagious once I got into it. Some days, it was quite easy to enter in way more than one happy/grateful-for thing. I want to do this again!
