How I did it: Well, I am really updating this to say I did not succeed, in a way. While I got there and went for one semester, I discovered what I really wanted in life: to go to med school. Medical Anthropology to be exact. I took away with me great memories, experiences and friendships. I have maybe 1000 pictures from my time spent there and I would never change a moment. I learned that I can in fact take care of myself in a big city, cook enough for… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I applied, I got the job and I had my own studio! I unfortunately quit after a year. I decided to pursue medical anthropology, sill me, huh? Education? HA! While I love photography, I can only keep it as a hobby. Being a full time photographer is a hard life, you never really know where you'll be. While some people do thrive as a photographer, they put a lot of blood, sweat and tear into their work, I cheer them all and look up to e… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well a friend bought me my first nikon, it's a long story and I still owe her! I bought my new one. I spoil both of them with all kinds of lenses and filters and flashes, I just love them! I haven't tried anything outside of the Nikon line, sadly, but I am still glad I bought my camera! It is my dream and my passion. There is nothing like looking through a lens and capturing moments in life. I absolutely love it.
“You create the moments, and I capture them.”
Myspace. Everyone knows what it is. I have a myspace. I keep it so that I can keep in touch with people. I’ve done everything I can to keep it as private as I can. I lied about my age and said I was 14 just so I can have my profile on private. People cant request to be my friend unless they know my last name, and then I have to approve them. I also have to approve whenever people want to leave me a comment. I hate how people are so vulgar on myspace. So careless about how the world sees them. I began getting worried about Myspace when I heard stories on the morning radio about girls meeting older guys and getting raped. I then took off on my myspace, the city where I live. Instead of saying the city, I put “somewhere over the rainbow”. HA! Now you dont know where I live, you pedophiles! I also became worried about the dangers when my dad talked to me asking if I was familiar with myspace. I said yes, and he told me to search for my two younger sisters. Ages 11 and 13. Both underage for myspace. Thankfully I did not find them. But he said he found myspace on their computers. I belive that they didnt create a myspace for themselves, and that they were just searching for their friends. You can go on myspace if you do not have a myspace. Unless they were smart enough to lie about their age…or have new e-mails I do not know about, then they dont have myspaces. But myspace concerns even me, and I am a teenager who has a myspace. At least I am smart enough to not give out any personal information though.
