So, I bought a book called the Meditation Bible by Madonna Gauding and so far I find it very helpful in allowing me to give my meditation a focal point. It has themes like Compassion, peace on Earth, making amends, and so forth. I love it so far and I feel it allows me to release stress. I’m still working out a place and time I can do it consistently with out being distracted, but so far so good =)

How I did it: I thought this was a sweet film--it had a bit of a "Forest Gump" quality but you could tell the director wanted to steer clear of that comparison. It does however go through the life of Benjamin Button and the ebb and flow of his relationship with his long time love. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I first heard about the documentary "The secret" when I was in Utah and I heard a lot of murmers of indifference which made me even more curious so when I ran across it when I got back to New York I decided to give it a whirl--and boy was it worth it! The Law of attraction is simply a beautiful thing, and I've already attracted "A course in Miracles" and two tickets to a show I've always wanted to see. So far so good I say. It's worth a w… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I came to terms with the fact that people are people and situations are just that a situation that will eventually pass--good or bad. So I learned to focus on the good ones and tell the bad ones "good-bye because I'm about to turn you into a good one right now!" and just like that I decide to change my attitude. Does it work?? As long as I don't let myself go all the way down the rabbit hole it does! Read how I did it…

Okay so a few weeks ago I bought myself a carry along filing bin and countertop organizer to keep track of the paper trail. So far it’s helped me keep all family papers organized, now I’m on getting the whole family on board with the new system. Wish me Luck!
I’m inthralled with the idea of having a circle of amazing friends, I have for years. The only problems I’ve found is that the moment I find myself in such a circle I have to leave them. Don’t get me wrong I love the ebb and flow of my life, but I crave good friends to talk to, laugh with and in general just be myself around. I always manage to remain friends with my nearest and dearest for years but the distance leaves a lot to be desired when all you want is a hug. Physical closeness is important to me, and it’s so hard to comfort or be comforted by someone over the phone, I’m way too tactile for that. So I suppose to be more specific my goal should be to develop new quality friendships here in New York City. Since this happens to be the place I’ve found myself tethered too, and I do mean that in a very good way.
