I started using Rosetta stone and so far so good. I do well at spanish because I already had but I want to pick up a couple more. So I’m going to freshen up my spanish and I start practicing japanese. So I’ll give it a chance and try to keep at it to see where it takes me in the following weeks. Hopefully I’ll walk away with something.
I think I finally found a job that can help me go somewhere in life. I start monday and I absolutely can’t wait.
It’s unfair that I lack any natural ability to draw. I’ve great images in my head but they never seem to translate well through my hand. I somethings think my artistic ability is still on the level it was in first grade. I guess each member of my family got one artistic ability. My parents can draw my siblings play instruments and then I sing and enjoy acting. I want to draw so much though.
I’m impatient first of all which is I think is my main dilemma. I somehow expect myself to be Rembrandt over night. I know I need to take my time and just practice over and over again. It’s just frustrating when it doesn’t turn out how I want it.
I’ve taken steps in that I bought some art books and sketch books and have started to practice the techniques. I bought a tablet also to draw on the PC and experiment with it there. I think I will start a goal to make at least one sketch per day.
