This has been a great year. My wife and I will be free of credit card debt by May of next year. The next step is to pay off a loan for new windows for the house. I really want to be totally debt free (and I think my wife does too). I’d like to even own my transportation and home outright. Lofty goals I know, but more feasible when you own a very simple and affordable house. Since our old and beautiful brick, 3 bedroom, 1 bath, 1917 foursquare in Detroit was only $105k this is really possible. I cringe when I see people (who don’t make much more than my wife and I do) buying $300k+ homes. Financial insanity! That kind of debt is scary.

What a pain to learn. So powerful but I’d rather have a TR808 any day.

Punk rock vocals are really fun, but I don’t think I want to be a singer. I think most good vocalists are born with a great voice. It you don’t have that natural talent you’re better off doing something else with your life. It’s likely that you’ll never really be happy with yourself or your singing.
