Well over a year later and my little tree is growing like crazy. I took a couple of pictures today but I don’t believe i can post them all here. Or i’ll have to figure out how to. Anyways, i just put the lemon tree in a new pot a few weeks ago and my god i have so much new growth it’s freaking out of control, in a good way.
In May i was starting to wonder when my tree would get some branches. At that time it was only one trunk with lots of leaves. About a week later i got two shoots come out. One took off the other seemed a bit lazy. And like i said before, after repotting,... well it’s just crazyness now. There must be at least eight new shoots coming off that tree!

So it’s been awhile since I last added anything here. I just wanted to jot down real quick that my lemon tree is doing great. I noticed today it has gotten it’s first two thorns. It’s got about ten leaves now and it’s about four or five inches tall. I’m thinking of repotting it soon. Been doing some research on when the best time to do so is. Also have been looking into making my own soil for it. I’d post a picture but can’t at the moment. So far it’s totally worth growing even if i don’t get any lemons at all. The leaves smell so wonderful!

Well, I am please to say, the seed has sprouted. It’s about an inch tall. When I rub the little leaves inbetween my fingers they have a lemon scent to them. When I looked really close at the stem I thought I saw the start of tiny thorns. I can’t be too sure as it’s only an inch tall. But never the less i’m extremely proud of my little lemon tree and it’s four leaves.
