and I feel like it’s a bit of a waste of money. I think the techniques are great and are definitely applicable to real life, I just think I need to practice it more, and I can only make it once a week. Back to kung fu for me.

Knitting is fun

I bought the book “Stitch N Bitch” and it has a lot of nice looking projects in there and great instruction on everything, even fixing stitches. I did find that the projects were a little much for a very very very beginning knitter (me) but I’m midway through a Skully sweater, made an umbilical cord hat and will be starting a Kittyville hat today. Also, knittinghelp.com was a lot of help—they have videos! Of all things, I actually needed help with an I-cord. Ok, maybe I shouldn’t have admitted that…
