My brothers love them some cornbread muffins so last night we made them. I had the take turns mixing that batter—you better believe they fought over it… and butter up the pan and cut the butter. I love getting them so involved and think they really enjoy doing it. Hopefully we’ll make something else this week.

How I did it: I made sure I understood ALL of the material. I checked over all my answers thoroughly after I was done. When we were reviewing I was confident and going ahead. I made sure I knew how to do the problems (without examples). My teacher was very exacting and would mark me off for the littlest things but that only pushed me more and although I thought it'd be impossible to get a perfect score because of it--I did it! How I did it: While I was visiting my uncle (& aunt, cousins, etc.) I mentioned to him that I've never been to an Indian restaurant. Evidently, he loves Indian food so he planned for all of us to go sometime that week. I tried several different entrees, including samosa, an appetizer with green stuff on it, chicken korma (my order), a lamb entree, the side rice, etc. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was inspired by this post last night and decided to try it the next day. It only takes 3 minutes for each side. I actually don't like eggs though. :D But, I'm always up to try something new. Read how I did it…

I don’t think this was the problem. I think there were other underlying causes that were upsetting me and I turned it into anger which was the wrong way to go since it caused a lot of pain for us.
I didn’t think talking would help but sometimes it does… especially if the other person helps you snap out of it. If (s)he can somehow reassure you and help you think differently about the situation.
As for criticism, sometimes having someone scream at me works because afterward I might just break down and listen to advice—as horrible as that sounds.
So, I still think it is total B.S. that the “College Board” wants me to pay ten bucks for each college I want them to send My scores to. Not to mention the incredulous price of the test itself. But, I am still happy that I did so well on the reading comprehension part of it, even on the PSAT. It was interesting to compare my raw (basically didn’t “prepare” much for the test) scores with the averages in various colleges. Also, I loved seeing my essay scanned because my handwriting is so insane I bet they knocked off points just because they were irritated they had to decode it. :D
I’m not sure if I should send it right now because I’m already behind so I think I might just have to apply next semester. I’m really not interested in college anymore but I still have the ideas of going into certain specific areas.
+ Dietitian/Nutritionist
+ Physical Therapist (Assistant?)
+ Occupational Therapist
I picked these because of some of my interests and also because there is an obvious career at the end of the degree.
