wake up when my alarm goes off
Untitled 4 years ago

Why, Why, Why is it so hard just to GET UP?? Just put the feet on the floor, walk to the shower and begin the day??? I don’t know why I struggle with this so. I get plenty of sleep, and once I actually get UP I actually feel pretty good. I’d love to be one of those people who just get out of bed when they wake up, go make coffee, take a shower and read the paper in my robe until its time to get dressed for work. But no….I hit that snooze until the very last second and then dash around like a mad woman EVERY day. I’ve tried setting the alarm earlier and later…it doesn’t matter what time I go to bed….and I know its not genetic cause my mom has always been a morning person….Maybe when I’m 70 I’ll enjoy being a morning person. One can hope.

Raise my daughters to be happy and self sufficient

When I think of what I want for my daughters as they grow into being their own women, I definitely hope for them find the love they deserve, success in their endeavors, the ability to stand up for themselves…..the list goes on and on… But as I told my oldest daughter last year, I only want them to be happy in the kind of life they choose. If being happy means for them that they have an MD behind their name, then I will support them 110%. But if they are happy living in a mobile home being a stay at home mom to 4 kids under 8, I will be just as proud. It is their happiness and contentment that matters to me, not the idea that they will fulfill MY dreams.
