I’m bidding on a French horn right now! Only 28 hours left! I’m so excited.
I just paid $2917 dollars to Citibank. GO ME! The only debt now is students loans, which will mount for another 4-5 semesters. :(
My roommate and I made an impromptu road trip to our state capitol. We had pizza and were very sore after 8 hrs in the car. It will stay with me always.
I want to do it again!
As of January 19th, I’ve been at my job for a year! It’s been a long road. I hated the job in the beginning, but somewhere around month 6 it really grew on me.
I got accepted into Graduate School at UNT SLIS! The first week of classes was easy, but I’m already having to tell myself not to slack.
All that’s left for me is the GRE and letters of recommendation. Those damn letters have been holding me back for a year now!
I’m getting there, though I haven’t actively worked on this in months. I’ve got the first verse and half down pat!
My first kiss ever was under the stars at an observatory. A girl couldn’t ask for a better first kiss!
He was about 6 inches taller than me so I had to stand on my toes. It was such a dark night that when we broke apart and I tilted my head up to look at him, all I could see was the silhouette of his face against diamond-studded velvet.
He was (well, still is!) a good friend. Right about midnight, I was heading out to my car after a night of observing.
“Hang on a second. I wanted to wish you happy birthday,” he said.
“Thank you!” I grinned back.
“Can I ask you something?”
“Sure, what is it?”
“Can I kiss you?”
He knows how to melt a girl’s heart!
Taking a nap is THE thing of your 43 that you should try. Turn off the lights, draw the blinds, have a fan blowing. Cover up with just a sheet or, during winter, a thick fleece blanket. 20 minutes is perfect.
The best way to wake up from a nap is next to a fellow napper. Both of you should do another activity together (like chill over coffee) directly after the nap for maximum post-nap bliss.
