Well "learn" is a loose term. 14 months ago

I haven’t actually “learnt” this, rather to say that I’ve simply done it a few times, so I’m not a complete novice. I’ve done this in a swimming pool (more fun than you think) and a few times at sea. Good times, I suggest you try it :D

Be a geek with pride.
So I'm a geek, apparantly 15 months ago

I’m a geek. I’m happy to say it here where the safety of the internet shields me from name calling and stone throwing, but out in the real world I try to hide my geekiness. I’ve always been led to believe that being a geek is a rather negative thing, and this is easily seen if you believe anything you see on (particularly American) television.

However now I’ve gotten to the point where I’m a geek and I’m happy with that fact. I also think that most people are geeks but just fail to realise or admit it. We have film geeks, TV geeks, gamer geeks, sport geeks, book geeks, fashion geeks and so, so many more things that you can totally be obsessive about.

So here I am, a geek doing a very geeky thing by writing a blog about being a geek. I’ve just got to show this outside now.
